Our Team

Gladys has been an integral member of Vision Works Optometry for over 27 years.  She has valuable knowledge and experience in all aspects of Vision First as our Office Manager.  Many of our long-time patients consider Gladys to be a member of their own families as she personally ensures a quality experience for each of our patients.  

​Gladys knows most of our patients by first name, inside and outside of the office.  She truly enjoys taking the time to deliver the finest care to our patients and their families.  Gladys sees our new name as Vision First Optometry as a positive step to distinguish our office from the large national chain stores.  "We continue to set ourselves apart as the best-quality optometric care in Modesto," she states, "and our new name exemplifies our ideals of patient care - we put our patients and their Vision First."

As a Vision First (Vision Works) team member for over 19 years, Lilia has seen Vision First grow into one of Modesto's finest optometric practices.  Lilia is especially skilled at navigating the various insurances we accept and helping our patients to get the most of their benefits while keeping budget considerations in mind.

​She enjoys keeping up-to-date on the latest developments in lens technology including digital progressive lenses and premium anti-reflective coatings.
